What is The Adventuring?

The Adventuring is a unique perspective, it is an attitude, it is a way of life. The Adventuring is a community of individuals who live every day as an adventure. Whether they are trekking through the Andes or making powerpoints at their computer, adventuring is how this community approaches all aspects of life.

The Adventuring is a daily affirmation that we are here for a short time and that we can make the most of it by living every moment as an adventure. An adventure is any new experience, filled with uncertainty and risk, that helps a person grow. An adventure is constant movement. An adventure may take unexpected turns, or change destinations, or even fail. And all of this is okay. We care about the journey more than the destination. Each of us defines and lives our own personal adventures. They take different shapes and sizes, but they are approached with the same mindset.

The Adventuring is a reminder that, ultimately, we create the meaning in our lives. It’s a reminder that we need to constantly be growing, and that experience is the source of that growth. It’s a reminder that life cannot be measured or judged by anyone but ourselves. No one else can define what success, connection, and fulfilment means to us.

The Adventuring occurs in the world outside of us, as we explore the corners of the earth, and inside of us, as we explore the depths of ourselves. The adventures we have are physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. As the world changes, we don’t resist, but rather accept, observe, and adapt. We move and shake and win and lose. Regardless of the outcome, we make things happen.

And at the end of the day, we are smiling. Because even if things didn’t go as planned, we had one hell of an adventure.
